Taleo Takes Two at Folsom

Mac Cary and John Walters each win Omnium at Folsom Cyclebration

The Taleo Racing team was out in force for this three day event, winning the Ominum in two categories: Mac Carey in Masters 55+ and John Walters in Masters +35 4/5. Roger Martin won the South Canal TT, Masters 35+ 4/5 race with one of the fastest times of the day.

South Canal TT
100 degree temperatures and the Air Force Thunderbirds practicing high speed aerial maneuvers overhead were the perfect setting for a super fast, flat 10.4 mile time trial.
Taleo won both the Masters 55+ and Masters 35+ 4/5 categories with powerful efforts by Mac Carey (23:07) and Roger Martin (22:09) respectively. Also placing in the top 10 were John Walters, 4th in Masters +35 4/5 and Ken Mejica placing 6th in the Elite 3 field.

Folsom Criterium
Mac Carey continued his drive for the Omnium by placing 2nd in the Masters 55+ race. John Walters moved into the Omnium lead with a solid 7th place showing in the Masters 35+ 4/5 A race, while JC Clifford bolted off to a 5th place in the Masters 35+ 4/5 B race.

Two Bridges Circuit Race
The third and final day of racing saw both men capture the Omnium in their respective categories. Mac brought it home with a 4th place and John captured 5th place on the short, tough circuit course. JC Clifford also placed 8th in the Masters 35+ 4/5 B race.
